It’s all about health

Fermentation is one of the oldest food preserving methods, yet extremely trendy at the moment. In fermentation, microbes produce enzymes that break down nutrients, making food more easily digestable and readily utilized by the human body. It’s also great for the gut as fermented foods contain bacteria beneficial to gut flora. “Hearty, but not farty”. Therefore your gut will produce less gases, as the beans are already half way digested for you by the fermentation microbes.
