Meeat Food Tech has been listed among ten most promising startup companies by Finnish business journal Talouselämä. The companies listed develop innovations and solve communal challenges like climate change. The major focus is in solving climate change through innovations like plant-based and climate friendly food and solutions that make driving an electric car easier.
Meeat Food Tech aims at international markets with its plant-based food solutions. The main ingredients used are fermented fava bean and pea. This year the jury emphasized the scalability and possibility to grow internationally with the companies chosen to the top 10. Meeat is at the moment in the Finnish markets with its market leading Muu brand. Products are also sold in Sweden in Axdood´s Hemköp and Willys chains.
