Welcome to the future of food! MeEat Food Tech is looking for a new R&D Team member / Food engineer.

MeEat Food Tech is the market leader in Finland on the mission to turn meat factories into plant-based meat factories. As we look to the horizon, we realize we need more talented teammates in our R&D department.
At MeEat you will have the opportunity to be working together with industry leading start-ups, forming strong partnerships with university researchers and producing products together with
manufacturers both inside Finland and outside.
We expect you to have knowledge in the following areas:
– Fermentation
– Understanding ingredient functionality (Gelling, Emulsion, texture building)
o Specifically for proteins, fibers and fats
– And to have a focus on Alt-Protein
A typical day:
– Includes fundamental work with the ingredients
– Creation of new food matrices
– Working with our partners
** Of course, we are a small team so at the end of the day you
should be eager to help with what is needed that day.
The Technical Details:
Location: R&D kitchen, Espoo Finland
Start Date: As soon as we find the right team member.
Travel: International and domestic travel required.
Language: English is the primary language, but Finnish is a strong plus.
Interests: Should include food.
