MUU Nugget Caesar salad

“I came, I saw, I conquered,” declared Caesar in his time. “I cooked, I ate, I smiled,” goes our updated saying after devouring the MUU Nugget Caesar salad.

Shopping list

1 pack of MUU Nuggets
1 bag of iceberg lettuce
1 bag of black kale
red onion
3 slices of rustic sourdough bread or other bread
a few radishes
a handful of alfalfa sprouts

Caesar Dressing
2 dl mayonnaise
½ dl olive oil
1-2 cloves of garlic
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp capers
1 dl Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp lemon juice
black pepper


1.Start by preparing the dressing. Peel and chop the garlic cloves. Add them to a narrow, tall bowl. Add capers, mayonnaise, and olive oil. Blend together with an immersion blender. Then, add Dijon mustard, Parmesan, lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper. Mix the ingredients thoroughly.

2.Cut the bread into generous pieces. Heat a bit of oil in a pan and fry the croutons until crispy. Sprinkle a little fleur de sel on top.

3.Also, fry the nuggets in a bit of oil until crispy.

4.Arrange washed iceberg lettuce and black kale on plates (or alternatively, mix the dressing in a large bowl with the salads). Add red onion and radish slices here and there. Add the nuggets and croutons. Garnish with alfalfa sprouts. Serve with the dressing.
